Hello 2015.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! As it is now 2015, New Year's Resolutions are in order, so I thought why not share them with you. Now I'm not saying I'm going to achieve these in just one year, but if I can just take several steps to help me achieve my goals, I will be happy.

This first one for me is pretty standard for a New Year's resolution, but it is to get fitter. Now this does not mean that I'm suddenly going to sign up to a gym or eat just fruit and vegetables, I mainly just want to work on my diet. I mean, I wasn't the healthiest person last year, I ate a lot of food which included fats and sugars. So for 2015, I want to work on balancing out my diet a bit more instead of scoffing down the sweets and chocolates.

The next New Year's resolution is to just be a lot happier. I mean, yeah, that's pretty self explanatory, everyone want to be happy. But what I mean by this is when you are living with internal issues it's quite hard to view the world as one would without these problems. So I guess what I want to do is kind of be one step ahead of these problems and look at the world in a more positive way instead of having these issues blocking the view (in metaphorical terms obviously, haha). Basically to put it simply, I just want to overcome any negativity that is thrown at me this year and to just enjoy the life I'm living.

So now for the big one. I would just like it reiterate what I said in the beginning about how I'm aware it's not likely that I'm going to achieve this in 2015, but I will be so happy if I can just get just a little bit closer to my goal. This is going to take a lot of explaining... So basically it has been a dream of mine forever to make an impact on the world. I've always tried to be a positive person and help others as much as I possibly could, and I always wanted to be that person that people would look back on and be like 'Yeah, she really helped me through a lot of stuff'.  Now you're probably sat her right now, like Emily..really? But when I was 6, I discovered this little website called YouTube and I instantly knew it was something I wanted to be involved in. I'd see the comments like 'you've helped me so much' or 'you mean so much to me' and I immediately wanted to be that person they were saying these things to. I wanted to be that person that made people feel like I was their friend and that I was there for them, even if I has never met them. And this is not a YouTube plug or anything, I'm quite content just doing my blog right now. But my ultimate dream in life is to make someone's life better, and to have impacted them in some way. So that's my New Year's Resolution, and if I can just get a little bit closer to achieving that, I was be eternally grateful.

Once again, Happy New Year everyone! Sorry that I got a bit soppy near the end, it's just a trait of mine. Here's to 2015!

Goodbye 2014.

Hello everyone! So 2015 is quickly approaching, and with just a few minutes of 2014 left, I want to recap on this year. Now below is something I treasure; It is my memory jar. For 2 years now, I have been doing this and basically, every time I have a amazing moment I will write it down. And as soon as the clocks strike 12 and it is officially the New year, I open it and look back on all the memories I have had in that year. I really think everyone should have one of these because I can not even tell you how happy it makes me to look back on the moments I've had and to just remember all these memories. Now seeing as it is not quite 2015 yet in England, I'm not going to open it, but I will share with you some moments of 2014 that have particularly stuck with me. The first thing that comes to mind is all the memories I have had with my friends. I'm not going to go in to detail as I don't know if they would appreciate that but I have been able to have some amazing opportunities this year and I have luckily, been able to spend them with my friends. Another memory is all the people I have been able to discover through the internet. I have been able to make online friends, found new people and I will be forever grateful that the internet exists because it has helped me so much through everything. And the last thing, as cheesy as it may sound, is this blog. Now I may have only had this blog for 2 months but I really think it has helped me have a voice at times when I thought no one cared about what I have to say.

I guess all in all, 2014 hasn't been the best year for me but I got through it and I really think I have grown a lot from it. And I think that is why my memory jar is so special to me because it lets me remember all the nice moments of this year and forget about the bad. And if you're reading this right now and haven't had the best year, or even if it's been amazing; Better things are coming.

Christmas Decorations (Blogmas Day 18)

Hello everyone and surprise surprise, another late upload! I'm so sorry, but I promise I will be more consistent from now on. Anyway, an essential for Christmas time has to be all the decorations. This is just a small portion of the decorations in my house but it is definitely my favourite. I have light up presents with holly draped across our fireplace. To fill spaces we have snowmen ornaments. To the side of the fireplace we have a silver Christmas tree, which is one of those tall, thin ones. I just think this little area looks so cute, especially in the evening and it makes the room look so cosy.

Sorry once again for the late uploads and also for the fact that this was a short post. But I promise you there will be a longer post tonight, and it will 100% be up tonight (even if I have to stay up until 2 in the morning). Merry Christmas Everyone!

Fifteen Festive Favourites Tag (Blogmas Day 17)

Hello everyone and once again, sorry for the late upload. Today I am doing the Fifteen Festive Favourites Tag as I saw that Emily Victoria Canham had done this so I thought, why not?

1. Favourite Festive Food?
My favourite festive food is probably the Christmas dinner because nothing beats that. But I have to say, chocolate tastes so much better near Christmas, I don't know what it is.

2. Favourite Reindeer?
Comet because that name is sassy af.

3.Favourite Day of Christmas?
I'm not too sure what is meant by this question but I really like Christmas Eve. The anticipation for Christmas Day makes me feel like I'm a little kid again, I just love it. And obviously, Christmas Day itself.

4.Favourite Christmas Song?
I'll be honest, I really like Step In To Christmas by Elton John, but all my friends always seems to say 'Fairytale of New York'. And I also love every song on the Michael Buble Christmas album, especially Christmas (Baby please come home).

5. Favourite Present?
I really like presents that you can tell have been thought out. Like a present that you can tell someone has really made an effort to get/ do.

6. Favourite Festive Film?
Well I don't know if I can actually decide this one. I made a blogpost on my top 5 favourite Christmas movies. But I always watch Elf to put me in the Christmas spirit.

7.  Favourite Festive Cracker Toy?
I couldn't really care less about Christmas Crackers but I remember when I was younger I always wanted these fans that were kind of oriental looking. I think I cried one time when I didn't get it, fml. (I was like 7 though, this didn't happen last year or something haha).

8. Favourite Cracker Joke?
None, they are not funny. No, but seriously, I cringe every time I read them.

9. Favourite Christmas Decoration?
I think it has to be the tree. A home is not complete without a Christmas tree at Christmas time. But I think fairy lights are really nice too.

10. Favourite Christmas Candle Scent?
Well, I am not actually allowed candles, so I can't really answer this question.

11. Favourite TV Christmas Advert?
I quite liked the John Lewis advert, and I actually cried the first time I saw it. But my favourite probably has to be the Sainsbury's advert.

12. Favourite Festive Tradition?
I like how I still get a stocking at the end of my bed and open all the presents from the stocking on my parents bed. Idk, maybe that sounds childish but it's tradition.

13. Favourite Place To Spend Christmas?
Home. I can't imagine myself being anywhere else for Christmas. For me, Christmas is a family holiday, so it has to be celebrated at home, otherwise it would just feel weird.

14. Favourite Christmas Fact?
Santa's outfit was originally green but when Coca Cola made their Christmas advert, they wanted the colours to match their brand. So they changed it to red, and since then it has stuck.

15. Favourite Snowman Accessory?
Well they need to have a carrot for a nose and sticks for arms.

That was it for the Fifteen Festive Questions Tag. As this is a tag, I tag all of you to do this, if you want. I hopefully will be posting again later this evening. I break up from school tomorrow so I will potentially be more consistent with posting now, yay. Merry Christmas everyone!

Try Out Tuesday: Helen E Cosmetics (Blogmas Day 16)

Hello everyone and welcome to blogmas day 16! Today it is Tuesday, so it is time for me to try something new out. I am going to be reviewing Helen E cosmetics today as, if you read my Clothes Show Haul post, you would know that I got the Helen E goodie bag! I will also link all of the products to their website.

The first product I am going to talk about is the Concealer pot. I will admit, it is kind of difficult to apply this at first as it seems to have a harder shell which isn't as pigmented, but once you use it for a bit it is really creamy and conceals blemished very well. The shade I got was also spot on so that's good. But I would recommend this. I would rate it a 3.5/5.

The next product is the Skin Smoother. When I first opened it, I was so bummed that it was too dark for me. However, after going on the website, I realised that they only do one shade because it adapts to your skin tone. So I tried it again, but I wasn't overly impressed. Now this may be unfair as I am very pale but it didn't fully blend in to my skin and some patches on my face looked a bit darker than others. Therefore, I would recommend this product if you are a bit more tanned and want light coverage makeup. I would rate this product a 2.5/5.

This is Helen E's Eyeliner. I have recently been using this product for school days as I don't want extreme eye makeup. When I apply this, I put a thin line on and blend it out so it makes a subtle smoky eye look. I do think this product has good staying power as it usually lasts all day and it applies quite nicely for a Kohl eyeliner. I would definitely recommend this one if you want to go for the more natural, subtle look as I just wouldn't recommend Kohl eyeliner in general for a more extreme eye makeup style. I would rate this a 3.5/5.

The next product is their double ended mascara. So one end is to define and the other side is to add volume. I have to say with this one, it's kind of a love/ hate thing with this mascara. It does definitely make my eyelashes darker, but the 'volume' side often makes my eyelashes clumpy and it doesn't really do much for my eyelashes in general.(baring in mind my eyelashes are naturally really long, it makes them look shorter). So I kind of like the 'define' side but the 'volume' side doesn't do much for my eyelashes at all, so for that reason, I wouldn't recommend this product. I would rate it a 2/5.

Okay, this is their lip crayon. I got it in shade 'Raspberry Crush' which is a nudey/ peach colours. I have to say, I actually like this product a lot. If you have read my review of the Kiko Lip pencil, you will know that I much prefer lip pencils/ lip crayons to lipstick. Anyway, I think the shade is really nice and goes quite nicely with my green eyes and pale skin. Also, the consistency is quite creamy when you apply it, so it is still moisturising. It also lasts quite a long time. I would definitely recommend this product and I would rate it a 4/5.

Last but not least is the Gloss Balm (I guess that's just a fancy way of saying lip gloss?). Anyway, when I got given this, I thought 'great another tacky, cheap lip gloss. I think we all know, there is nothing worse than having super sticky lip gloss. I mean, I was expecting that, but I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't that sticky at all and was very moisturising. I got it in the shade 'Bon Bon', which was one of their lighter shades. I do think that they could potentially bring out more colours as it is only pinks so far. However, I would recommend this and I would rate it a 4/5.

That was it for my (very long) Helen E Cosmetics review! I hope you found this helpful. As usual, make sure you check out my blog tomorrow for a new blogmas post. Merry Christmas everyone!

DIY Gift Idea: 52 things I love about you! (Blogmas Day 15)

Hello everyone and welcome to blogmas day 15! Today I am going to be showing you a DIY gift idea if you have left the present shopping until last minute. I'll be honest, this isn't the most original idea I've ever had (if you've ever been on pinterest you would know that) but I just thought I'd talk about this because I made it last year and I think it is a really cute present for someone like your girlfriend/ boyfriend or parents.

To make this DIY gift, you don't need much supplies. In most pictures I have seen, people have used cards and a bit of ribbon to make the book. However, you could completely change it up. For example, instead of making a little book, you could make a box or a jar filled up with little pieces of paper which say what you love about a certain person.Anyway, so all you need to do is write on each of the pieces of card, pierce a hole through them all and thread some ribbon through it to make sure it stays together. It's that simple! I just mainly think this gift idea is so nice because if you are giving this to someone like your mum (which I did last Christmas), yet it is cheesy af, it is saying to that person  that you appreciate everything they do for you and that you love them, and 'here's the reasons why'.

So this was it for my DIY Gift Idea. I know this one was very cheesy but hey, it's Christmas! As per usual, make sure you check out my blog for a new Try Out Tuesday for tomorrow. Merry Christmas everyone!

picture is not my own.

Decorating The Tree! (Blogmas Day 14)

Hello everyone and welcome to blogmas day 14.  So today, I decorated my Christmas tree! I had already put up all my other Christmas decorations so it was time to put up my tree. This is typically a family event but I ended up doing most of the tree by myself because everyone else was busy, fml. Anyway, it isn't a real tree, although I wish it was. Something that has always frustrated me about my tree is that it isn't colour coordinated, it is really random. However, I do think it is kind of cute that we still include some baubles that my sister and I made when we were younger. We also put up some decorations that used to be my dad's when he was growing up, which I thought was pretty cool. Our tree is fibre optic so it looks really nice in the evening, and we also have a light up star which looks really cool.

I'm aware that this wasn't much of a post, this was more of a chatty type post but I really wanted to include this somehow without boring you all to death. Also it is pretty important for Christmas, so it had to be included in Blogmas. Check out my blog tomorrow for a new blogmas post. Merry Christmas everyone!

DIY Christmas Picture Bunting! (Blogmas Day 13)

Hello everyone and once again, sorry for the late upload! Anyway, today I am going to be showing you how to do another room decor DIY! This time it is this picture bunting, I don't know if that is the right term, but you get what I mean. Anyway, like all other DIY's I have done, it is every easy and anyone can recreate this if you have the supplies.

Okay so you will need some string, a printer and the internet. For me, I had already brought some string with stars on them from the Range but you can use string and it will look just as nice. With the string, you just need to hang it wherever you want. Then all you need to do is print some images out. I used quotes from movies and images from Tumblr, but you can do whatever you want. You could also do this DIY any time in the year, but using images of you and your friends etc. And then all you need to do is hang those pictures up with pegs or pierce holes in the images and put string through them.

So that's all you need to do to make this cute Christmas bunting. Obviously you could personalise it a bit more than I have but it is completely up to you. I will be posting later this evening, so make sure you check out my blog later today. Merry Christmas everyone!

DIY Christmas Countdown! (Blogmas Day 12)

Hello and welcome to Blogmas day 12! Today is another DIY home decor but I'll be honest, I love doing them. So as the title says, I am going to be showing you how to make this DIY Christmas Countdown. It is very simple and easy but adorable once finished.

The first thing you need to do is get a chalk board. Now if you don't own one, then you can get a piece of wood/ plastic and spray with chalk paint.  I already had a chalk board so I could just skip this step. However, the boarder was blue so I decided to paint it white because bright blue isn't really a Christmas colour. So I just let that dry for a while and once it is completely dry, it is time to put some ribbon or string to hang it up. Obviously, that is optional, you don't need to have it hanging up, you could just rest it on a surface, but for me, I wanted to hang it up. I kept the ribbon in place by putting a couple of nails in the back of the wooden frame. And then you basically write what you want to put on the chalkboard. For me I put Days 'Til Christmas with some Christmas hollies at the side, but that is completely up to you!

So that was it! That is all you need to do to get this cute Christmas Chalkboard Countdown! As I said before it is very simple and it makes such a nice addition to all the Christmas decorations. As usual, make sure you check out my blog tomorrow for another Blogmas post. Merry Christmas everyone!

Gift Guide: For Him! (Blogmas Day 11)

Hello and welcome to blogmas day 11! Once again, sorry for the late upload, I have been very sick these last few days and couldn't bring myself to make a blogpost. Anyway, today I am doing another Christmas gift guide, but this time, it is for Him! I really hope this post gives you some ideas on what to potentially get your boyfriend, husband, brother or dad.

The first item I am including is the Nivea for Men Sensitive Skin Bumper Pack. This retails for £15 and inside you get a Face Wash, Post Shave Balm, Shower Gel, Moisturiser and Deodorant. All of the products included, I believe are all the full size which I think is pretty good for £15. Anyway, I think this set is pretty affordable for what you get and it is available at boots (possibly Superdrug although I am not too sure).

The next product I will admit, I saw in a Fleur De Force video, but I just needed to include it because it is so cool! It is this Smartphone Projector. I believe how it works is that you get the box and you fold it in to the shape in the picture, put your phone in it, turn off the lights and you have yourself a little projector. I believe this is available for £15.95. But I really think this type of gift would be great for tech-loving dad's, like mine!

For this gift, I don't particularly mean the product in the image I have used, but the brand itself. For a while now Science Museum have been selling these really cool products. This is again, a great gift idea for someone who loves science or is more of the geeky type. I know my dad doesn't read my blog so I will just say that I most likely am getting my dad a Science Museum product for Christmas as I know he loves them. They are usually very affordable, I think the most expensive product I have seen by them was £20.Most supermarkets sell their products so it should be very easy to get one of their items.

Back to the more grooming type of present now and this is the 'Ted Baker The Grooming Room The Clean Break Shaving Kit'. I think the only place this gift set is available is Boots and it is for £25. So this product would definitely be more for if you want to splurge this Christmas for whoever you are shopping for. Inside you get a Face Scrub, Shave Gel, Post Shave Balm, Shaving Brush and a Shaving Mug (whatever that is?). But what I really like about this product is the presentation. The box that all the products have been put in is so nice and definitely reusable.

This gift idea is more for the entertainment and jokey side of things rather than a sentimental present. This is the Chilli Chocolate Challenge from BHS. This product is for £6.00 and this is another gift idea that I potentially might use for my Dad's gift. Inside you get 4 different types of chocolate. There is a mild, Medium, Fiery and extreme flavoured Chilli chocolate. I think this is the perfect gift for someone who enjoys spicy food and also loves chocolate and it also is such a fun present.  Also at £6.00, I would say it is very affordable.

Okay, so that is it for my Gift Guide: For Him! I really hope this gave you some ideas on what to get for gifts for Christmas. I will hopefully be posting again tonight to make up for the late upload from yesterday. Merry Christmas everyone!

The Clothes Show Live Haul! (Blogmas Day 10)

Hello everyone and welcome to blogmas day 10! So yesterday, I went to the Clothes Show and it was AMAZING! The show was just perfect and their was a lot of stands which really interested me. For this post I am going to be sharing what things I brought at the Clothes Show, and I got everything for £20! I also will not be going in to as much detail as I will be reviewing the products I got over the next couple of weeks.

Okay, so the first thing I got was the Rimmel Goodie bag. They were originally selling this at £10, but because we went on the last day, they had reduced it to £5. They were doing 3 collections, the Kate Moss, Rita Ora and Georgia collection. I wanted the Kate Moss one but they were sold out so I got the Rita Ora one instead. Anyway, inside you get a Primer, a sample of their BB Cream, 2 nail polishes, a Colour Balm, a Mascara and an Eyeliner. I have to admit, for £5, that's pretty damn good!

The next thing I got was some Ciate mini  nail polishes. They were doing a sale for 7 nail polishes for £5 or 15 for £10. However, I opted for the 7 nail polishes. I got the shades Play Date, Knee Highs, Ferris Wheel, Hopscotch, Members Only, Tickle Me Fancy and Jingle Belle (which is one of their glitters).Again, I thought that was pretty good value for what you get as I know that Ciate have a good reputation. I mainly got these because I barely wear nail varnish, so I want to get in to it again. Although, I must say, I do think it was a bit silly that the bag was so big when you can quite clearly see in the picture those nail polishes really don't need that big a bag.

The next goodie bag I got was the Helen E Cosmetics one. Now I will admit, I have never heard of this brand before but I'm quite glad that I am now aware of them. In there goodie bag I got a Nail Polish, a Gloss Balm, a Concealer, a Lip Crayon, a double ended Mascara, an eyeliner, a Skin Smoother, a Makeup bag and a £10 Gift card. I got all of that for just £10. Now tell me that isn't a good bargain. And from what I've tried, it seems to be really good quality.

The last goodie bag I got was actually for free and it was the Clothes Show Live one. Inside I got samples for the Garnier Moisture Match moisturiser, Tresemme Shampoo and conditioner, Palmolive Mediterranean Moments Shower Gel, Viva La Juicy La Fleur perfume and the Dorset Cereals Honey Porridge. Then the bit that exited me the most was Freederm Daily Complex. It doesn't really say what it is on the packaging but I think it is the full size. I also got 2 850ml bottles of the Smart Water which I can sucessfully say I drank both bottles in one day, haha. Anyway, I thought that was also pretty good as you get all that for free!

So that was it for my Clothes Show Live Haul! I just realised that this was my first haul I have ever done, yay! Anyway, as per usual, make sure you check out my blog for a new blogmas post tomorrow. Merry Christmas everyone!

Try Out Tuesday: Superdrug Tea Tree Skincare Range (Blogmas Day 9)

Hello everyone and welcome to blogmas day 9! Sorry this is going up a day later, I got back from the clothes show yesterday and I was really sick. However, that means that there will be two posts today so it will still be up to date. Anyway, today I am going to be reviewing the Superdrug Tea Tree Skincare range. I think that it's fairly new so today I will be Trying it out!

Okay, so they have several products in their brand but I have just brought the Exfoliating Scrub and the Spot Stick. The face scrub is supposed to be used 2-3 times a week and I will admit, when I first used it, I was a bit sceptical. However, I was pleasantly surprised because when I took it off, my skin was really soft and smooth. I have incredibly sensitive skin so I found it quite amazing that the scrub doesn't make my face come up in rashes. It did make my skin tingle quite a lot for the first few minutes, but that is probably because of the tea tree. Anyway, I also tried the Spot Stick which you are meant to use 2-3 times a day. I first applied this after the face scrub and I was amazed. The combination of these products had literally made almost all of my spots disappear within a couple of hours. However, being a teenage girl, spots will appear very often. But I just use the spot stick 2-3 times everyday and it really has made a difference to the amount of spots that will appear now.

So that was my review on the Superdrug Tea Tree Skincare Range. Obviously, this isn't 100% accurate because I only tried 2 products, but the ones that I did try, I was pleasantly surprised by them. So overall, I would really recommend the range as it definitely reduced the amount of spots quite quickly and is also very affordable. I would rate the range a 4/5.

DIY Movie Gift Box! (Blogmas Day 8)

Hello everyone and welcome to blogmas day 8! Can we just take a moment to say, I really didn't think I would last this long, haha. Anyway, today I am going to be showing you how to make this DIY Movie Gift Box! So basically, it is very simple, but when finished makes a pretty cute gift for a friend.

Okay, so it is incredibly simple to put together. All you need to get are a box, movies and some goodies. As you can see in my gift box I have Hot Chocolate, Popcorn and so Haribos. The movies that I included are Arthur Christmas and The Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3. I included those movies because, I mean, it is a Christmas gift and they are also in my top 5 Christmas movies. But you can use whatever movies you want, as well as the selection of treats. Then basically all you need to do is put everything in the box and through in some tissue paper if you want to be all fancy.

I think this is a great Christmas gift idea for last minute because you can literally through some things together, make it look presentable and there ya go! Also a movie lover like me would really enjoy getting something like this and it makes you look like you went to a lot of effort to get their present. As per usual, make sure you check out my blog tomorrow for another blogmas post. It will most likely be a Try Out Tuesday, but it may be up a bit later because I am going to the Clothes Show tomorrow! (yay yay)

My Christmas Wishlist! (Blogmas Day 7)

Hello everyone and welcome to Blogmas Day 7! Today I am going to be discussing what I would really like for Christmas! So I made my Christmas List about a month ago, and yes, I still make Christmas lists. Anyway, I thought I would just share what I would love to get on Christmas because this could help anyone who is stuck on what to get a friend or to give yourself ideas of some stuff you might want to receive on Christmas!

Okay, this is the first thing that I would really like to get. This would obviously be my main present, but it is the Fujifilm S8650 16MP bridge camera. This is currently on sale on Argos for £99 which I think is pretty good for a camera like this. I'll be honest, I've wanted a camera like this for years and because I've started a blog and potentially starting a YouTube channel fairly soon, I think it is time to get this. What really interested me about this camera is that it zooms in a lot (36x Optical Zoom to be precise).

Now this next product has a little story to it. Basically, about a month ago, I started watching American Horror Story and within three days I had watched every single episode. And if you watch the programme you will know that in Coven, literally everyone wore these hats.. and they rocked them (especially Zoe Benson/ Taissa Farmiga, just saying). I've always been told that I suit hats so, yeah, I really want one of these hats and pretend I am the next Supreme or something, lol.

So can you tell there is a little theme going on here? Yes, I want an American Horror Story Sweater. I found this online and it just looks so comfy and adorable, I would love if I received this on Christmas. I really want it in large so it will be very oversized and comfy. I mean, people wouldn't get what 'All monsters are human' means but if they do, then they're pretty bloody cool. And besides, I don't really care about what people think about my style. :)

Oh Look! Another piece of American Horror Story merchandise! Yes, okay, you probably get it by now, I just really love it guys. Anyway, I know this phrase is a bit more popular, I actually wanted this t shirt before I even knew it was from AHS. But I just really like the phrase and it is kind of accurate to myself so, yeahh.

The next product is by Kiko and it is the 'Invisible powder'. So basically it is a loose powder. But anyway, when I recently went in to Kiko, this caught my attention and I fell in love with it. I currently use a pressed powder from Rimmel but I find that it usually comes off after about 2 hours because my skin is slightly oily. And powders often make your face look darker throughout the day, so a translucent powder would really be beneficial.

This is kind of similar to the last product but it is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. So basically, I have really really sensitive skin and every time I put something on my face, it will come up all itchy and blotchy and I want to prevent that. I did a lot of research on what foundation is best on sensitive skin and this came up so I thought, why not ask for it!

Now this last product is from Lush and it is the Christmas Eve bubble bar. I know it is very random and tbh, I want pretty much everything in Lush but every time I see this, I always want to buy it. I think it smells really good but some of my friends absolutely hate the smell. I mean it doesn't look particularly exciting but I just really want it.

So that was it for my Christmas Wishlist! There were more things but I don't want to bore you guys to death! Make sure to check out my blog tomorrow for a new post! Merry Christmas everyone!

DIY Christmas Quote Frame (Blogmas Day 6)

Hello and welcome to Blogmas Day 6! Today is another DIY room decor for Christmas and it this cute quote photo frame! It is so simple to make, literally anyone could make it. All you need is a photo frame, the internet and a printer!

Okay the first thing I did was find a quote that I was going to include. So of course I used 'The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear' from Elf. Now I actually found the image I used on Google but you could make your own one. I then just printed it out but it ended up having a white border around it, which in the end, I think made it look nicer. And if you don't have a printer, you can just create the quote image by hand. Anyway, the only photo frame that I had was navy blue so I had to paint it white, but of course, you can do whatever you want. So then you just put the printing in the frame and basically, that was it!

As I said before, this DIY is so simple but once it is done, it looks so professional and cute. As per usual, make sure you check out my blog tomorrow for a new blogmas post. Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Essentials: The Movies! (Blogmas Day 5)

Hello everyone and welcome to blogmas day 5. Today, I am going to be talking about the things which are essential near Christmas. For this post, it's all about the movies.. in particular, my favourite Christmas movies. This is in no way a countdown, but just a list because it is literally impossible to order my favourite Christmas films.

Okay, the first movie is the classic 'Elf'. This film has probably been seen by everyone but I have to admit it is one of the best Christmas movies going. I always watch this film as soon as it hits December, sometimes earlier, and it just really helps getting me in to the Christmas spirit. And hey, who doesn't love Will Ferrell? Growing up, this was literally the only Christmas film I would watch, I would just put it on repeat because it was my absolute favourite. However, over the years I have started watching more Christmas films and trying to choose my favourite Christmas movie nowadays is becoming so tough.

Another Christmas film I watched a lot when I was younger was The Polar Express. Now, I don't know what it was when I was younger, but I was always so mesmerised by this movie. Possibly it was the animation or the scenery of the film, especially when they get to the North Pole. That part in the movie in particular, was just so magical for me as a child and it always got me in to the Christmas spirit. However, despite all this, I can't actually remember me getting through the whole movie. I'm sure I have plenty of times, and I can vaguely remember the ending, but it isn't clear to me. But this movie really isn't talked about enough.

Another Christmas film that is not talked about enough is Arthur Christmas. Now this film came out a few years ago and I can't actually remember there being much hype on the movie. I know that I went to go see it in the cinema, which I know at the time I was very reluctant, but this movie is actually so good, and it deserves more credit. It's not your traditional 'Santa and Elf's' story, it has a really good plot line. And I will just state right now, that Arthur is literally me as a character and if you have seen this film, you would understand what I mean. Oh yeah, and I also don't like Justin Bieber, but the song he did for this movie is pretty good.

This movie is a must have for Christmas time. It is The Santa Clause. Now, I have to include all three of this trio because they are all great. However, the third one is the one I remember the most and I really liked that one, so that probably has to be my favourite out of the trio. I mean, the third movie in particular has such an inventive and creative concept, it just makes it so much more interesting to watch. But all the characters in all the movies are so likeable and just creates a better viewing experience, haha.(going all fancy there).

The last film that I am going to include is Home Alone. I know there is like 60 movies of Home Alone but if I remember correctly, the second one is my favourite. Well whatever one where he goes to New York is. But can we just talk about the kind of ideas this boy had, like jeez if these two men came in my house I would crawl up in a ball and cry. That boy is brave.. even if he does drugs now. Anyway, that is beside the point. I remember being introduced to this film by my cousin and the first scene he showed me was one with a massive spider and for a while, that made me not want to watch Home Alone, lol.

Okay, well this was my list of my favourite Christmas movies! If you haven't watched any of these, I recommend that you do because it will really bring your Christmas spirits up. Anyway, check out my blog tomorrow for a new Blogmas post. Merry Christmas everyone!

Gift Guide: For Her! (Blogmas Day 4)

Hello everyone and welcome to blogmas day 4! Today I am going to be discussing some gift ideas for what you could get for your girlfriend, wife or even mum this Christmas. These products do vary quite a lot in price which will hopefully be helpful if you're on a budget.

So the first present you could purchase is this gift set from the Body Shop. This is the Glazed Apple Tin Of Treasures set and if I'm honest, I really want to get this myself. I had a little smell of the Glazed Apple range in the store and it smells amazing. Anyway, this gift set includes 4 miniatures and a loafer (Body Butter, Shower Gel, Body Polish and a Body Lotion). I honestly think anyone would be so happy to receive this for Christmas as the packaging is so cute and the products itself are amazing. I think this product retails at £17 which is very reasonable for the value you get.

Okay, next is the Ted Baker London Beau Box Bathroom Set Mini Hat Box. Now this product is in the lower price range at £10 which again I think is very good value for money. In this gift set you get a Body Soufflé, Body Foam, Body Wash and a Body Spray. I just want to give credit to the packaging quickly because look how cute it is! It looks like very good quality and definitely is something I would purchase for my mum as it is so formal. I have smelt Ted Baker products in the past and they smell great so I am sure this set does not disappoint.

I am really excited to talk about this next product because it is so amazing. This is the Champneys Complete Home Spa Bath and Bodycare Kit. I will admit, this product is pretty expensive at £50.00 but to me, it really looks worth it. The gift set comes with a pink bag and inside it includes a Body Scrub, A Body Butter, Hand and Nails Cream, Body Lotion, Bathing Milk, Shower Gel and a Loafer. I definitely think this product would be great to give someone who has worked really hard this year and is in need of a good pampering session. Also, as it comes in this adorable pink bag, it really makes the gift set seem so fancy and luxorious.

Now I will admit, I did see FluerDeForce talk about this gift set in one of her recent videos and I just had to include it in my list. This is the La Petite Patisserie Soufflé Body Crème Collection from Laura Mercier. This again, is a fairly pricey product at £45 but it's Laura Mercier, so you know it is going to be good quality. I really do think that all Laura Mercier packaging just makes their products look so much more luxurious. The body cremes included all have different scents which are: Ambre Vanille, Almond Coconut Milk, Crème Brulee, Fresh Fig, Crème de Pistache and Tarte au Citron.

I'm going to go back to the cheaper end of the spectrum now and this is the Baylis & Harding Pamper Calander. This is £20 which is incredibly good for what I'm about to tell you. This product is basically an advent calender but for the 12 days of Christmas (although it would be literally perfect if it was an advent calender for December). So this set is laid out like an advent calender so there are little doors and behind it are different products for each day. There are several different designs which all have different fragrances. The design in the image to the right is Sweet Mandarin and Grapefruit, the pink one is Vintage Rose and the black, white and gold one is Pink Peony with Cashmere and Vanilla. Tbh, I really want this and I just think it is such a cool idea, I reckon anyone would want this.

On to the last product now and it is the Bobbi Brown's Bobbi Chocolate. This is a trio set of two Long-wear cream eyeshadow in shades Bronze Sugar and Praline as well as a long-wear Gel eyeliner in Dark Chocolate. The trio also comes with a Mini Dual-ended cream shadow/Ultra Fine eyeliner brush. This is an expensive product at £49, but hey, it's Bobbi Brown, of course it's expensive, it's good quality. I definitely think this set would be the perfect gift for someone who loves makeup as they would really appreciate this.

So that concludes my Gift Guide For Her list, I hope you found this helpful. Please make sure to check out my blog tomorrow for a new Blogmas post and Merry Christmas everyone!

DIY Christmas Tree! (Blogmas Day 3)

Hello everyone and welcome to day three of Blogmas! Today I am going to show you how I made this DIY Christmas Tree. I think this is a pretty cute idea for someone who isn't able to put a real tree up in their room but still want to incorporate a tree somehow in their decorations.(like me, lol). It is very simple so literally anyone could do this.

You Will Need:
  • Paper/ Card( if you want it to be sturdier)
  • Paint
  • Sequins (optional)
Okay, so to start off I made a cone shape with the paper and glued it together. Cut off the excess paper at the bottom so it has a flat surface and is able to stand properly. Once it is the right shape and is secure, start painting it green. After you have let the paint dry, you can either use ribbon or fabric to create the tinsel or do it how I did and it on. As you can see in the image, I painted it red, but it is your preference on what colour you choose. When doing this, please make sure you don't use too much paint as it will drip, like it did the first time I tried to make this, haha. Anyway, once you've let the paint dry again, it's time to apply the sequins! Again, if you don't have any sequins you can just paint the baubles on, but I wanted to use sequins to give it a more 3D effect. Now, of course, a tree is not complete without a star on top so for the star I just used a template to create a star shape (because I'm crap at drawing stars). Once, you cut it out, I just stuck it on to a cocktail stick and put it through a little whole at the top. This just helps it stay in place a bit better.
Once you have done this, your Christmas tree is complete!

Okay, that's all you need to do to make these Christmas trees! I think they are a cute addition to your Christmas decorations and are so simple to make. Make sure, to check out my blog tomorrow for another Blogmas post!

Try Out Tuesday: Kiko Lip Pencil (Blogmas Day 2)

Hello everyone! Welcome to Blogmas day 2! It's Tuesday, so it's time for me to try out a new product. I am going to be reviewing the Kiko Lip Pencil's because Kiko has just recently opened a store in my shopping centre so of course, I had to try something out! This product retails at £2.90, although there are cheaper lip pencil's from Kiko for £1.90. I was originally going to buy a lipstick but I usually wear lip liner as a lipstick equivalent anyway, so I thought I would try out the lip liner instead.

Okay, first things first (imma realist) I wanted to talk about how nice the packaging is. I would definitely say the packaging resembles Mac products which I think is great. I really do need to congratulate Kiko on their packaging and layout in their stores because it looks so professional, even when the prices are fairly cheap.

If anyone is interesting, I brought my lip liner in shade 311 which a nude/ orange colour. I brought this shade intending on trying something new as the only lip colours I really wear is red, so trying a nude was quite a big step for me. However, when I tried
it, I instantly fell in love. The nude/ orange colour really suited my pale complexion, so I would really recommend this kind of lip colour of us paler girls. It also gave me that 'Kylie Jenner' effect where it really made my lips look bigger. Now, being a girl with almost non-existent lips, that's something I really appreciate. However, if I had to say something bad about the lip liner, it would probably be that there wasn't much of variety, it was mainly nudes, pinks and plums(at least in my store anyway).

When I applied the lip liner, I instantly fell in love. It was easy to apply and was creamy yet long lasting. I even wore it to school on Monday and it lasted the whole day, which I really wasn't expecting. Most of my lip liner's don't even last until the first lesson! So I was really surprised by this, especially as it was cheap as well.

So all in all, I would really recommend this product. I would recommend Kiko in general as a lot of their products seem very good quality for fairly cheap prices. I know this product is going to get a lot of use, so I'm going to rate it a 4.5/5 stars.

Blogmas Day 1: The Christmas Tag!

Hello everyone! So for December I really wanted to do Blogmas because right now, I am so in the Christmas spirit. I know this is going to be really hard work but I am going to try my best to post every single day up until Christmas! So I thought what better way to kick off blogmas than to do the Christmas tag!

1. What's your favourite Christmas movie?

I think my favourite Christmas movie has to be Elf, I always watch it near Christmas.

2. What are your favourite Christmas colours?

Just the traditional red, green, gold and silver.

3. Do you like to stay in your PJs or dress up for Christmas?

I usually dress up a bit on Christmas because my Grandad comes over so I want to look presentable. But when I was younger, I used to go all out and buy new dresses just for Christmas.

4. If you could only buy one person a present this year who would it be?

Okay, I know the traditional answer would be 'my mum' or 'my dad' but I'm not going to choose them because I feel bad having to only give one person a present. And I was thinking someone from 5sos but then I also have to choose and I literally can't decide so I think I'm going to say my favourite Youtuber which is Emily-Victoria Canham. I choose her because her videos have really helped me this year, yeahh, I thought way too much about this question.

5. Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?

Does anyone actually open their presents on Christmas Eve?! For me, I get my presents throughout the day, so it's a bit more spread out.

6. Have you ever built a gingerbread house?

No I haven't, but I really want to, even though I hate gingerbread, haha.

7. What do you like to do on your Christmas break?

Sleep, go Christmas shopping, wrap presents, watch Christmas movies and then sleep again.

8. Any Christmas wishes?

This isn't really a Christmas wish but that everyone I know has a great 2015 because I know for several of my friends, this year hasn't been too good so I really want everyone to have an amazing year and for everyone to forget all the negativity that went on this year.

9. Favourite Christmas smell?

Probably the smell of the Christmas dinner.

10. Favourite Christmas Meal or treat?

I would say the Christmas dinner, but in the evening I have an amazing buffet which is pretty rad, haha. But the Christmas dinner just can't be beaten so I would probably have to go with that.
For the snack it's probably those Cadbury Selection boxes or advent calender chocolate. Anyone else think that chocolate just tastes a lot nicer near Christmas?

So that is it for the Christmas tag, I know there are several versions of them but this is just the first one I found. Make sure to check out my blog tomorrow for a new post. Merry Christmas everyone!
